What Karen Offers

Karen Greer has an end-of-life focus. She is currently a Facilitator of Celebration of Life  and Certified as a Grief Educator. Karen officiates at memorial services, consults on eulogies and funeral planning and is a member of the MN Death Collaborative and the MN Threshold Network.

• For over 30 years, Karen has been on the growing edge of personal discovery and self-development. In the 1990's, Karen found her passion for assisting people in having congruency about who they are and what they do, focused primarily in educational institutions, non-profits, and companies.
• In early 2000, Karen moved into private practice and focused her work with individuals in work and life transition. As our world changed, so did Karen’s work with it as people retired and then Boomers sought new paths in our changing world. With the Positive Aging Movement, she focused on individuals and classes relating to retirement planning.
• In 2010, when Brene Brown’s research on shame came out, it captured Karen’s attention, expanding her work by integrating these powerful insights on belonging, community, and compassion for self and others, as part of the aging process.

Karen’s style is one of deep listening, being with, and reflecting back what she hears and feels with people as they seek to expand and grow. She blends an awareness of human consciousness taken from national experts in the social, emotional, intellectual, physical and spiritual realms. 

Currently Karen assists others in exploring end-of-life realities with talks and group discussion/conversation. She is chairperson of the Death & Dying committee at her spiritual community. “Facing Our Mortality” and “Grieving Our Losses” are some of the classes she shares with the community.
